bullet proof ftp server upload problems

i have a bullet proof ftp server running. Its working perfectly except
for one thing, and that is that it cancels uploads after a certain
amount of data is transferred. This only goes for large files. I have
no limit set up for file size in the options for neither users or
groups.
Anyone knows why this is?
