I have an utility that creates files with the format

"filename (##).mpg"

where ## is a number starting from 0.

What I need is a number starting for 1.

Can somebody suggest an utility that can easily rename this for me ?
I use ACDSEE but it is very slow when the number of files is a little
large.

I like v2.1 the best. Once you use Bulk Rename Utility, you never want
to use anything else for bulk renaming.

In XYplorer you select your files, press F2, and enter the following
pattern:
filename <#01>
And press Enter. Done.
If you like you can get a nice preview before you do the actual rename.
