Hi,

I'm looking for a place where I can order Bulk Ink for an Epson D120.
I already have spongeless acrtridges for my printer. They seems to wrok
quite well, but I need ink for it.

Durabrite or Durabrite-like is ok, but regular generic epson compatible
ink will do.

I will be ordering from France.

Would someone here have any experience with a reliable site or place?

thanks.

Huey

If you buy your ink from France, the colors might run.

I'm not sure i'm getting the joke, sorry. Is it about cowardice or
something?

Anyway, maybe I am not in the right group to ask for this. If there is
another usent group that is more appropriate, please let me know.

You are in the right group generally, Huey, and no offense intended
personally.
I didn't recognize that you were posting from Paris. Most of the
posters here are from the USA. Our exposure to French sources of
supplies is minimal and the cost of shipping might make them too
costly. Maybe just Google local sources and reviews. You could even
check the archives in this group for sources if shipping cost is not
an issue for you.

I think you're starting in the right group, but most people here aren't
familiar with what's available in France. Perhaps a more general
French-language computer-related newsgroup would include people who are
more familiar with what's available in France. That's just a guess on
my part.

Sadly, I think you have encountered what I can only call the aftermath
of the US Bush administration idiocy still hanging on and being
reflected. These are the same "brilliant politicians" who decided they
should change the name of "French Fries" to "Freedom Fries" because they
were not pleased with the fact that France was too intelligent to go
into Iraq to fight Saddam and his supposed "Weapons of Mass Destruction"
when they were proven not to exist by the UN, not to mention the fact
that Iraq had nothing to do with the 9-11 attacks. I think the US might
want to look at some of the history of the French resistance during the
2nd world war, or consider the amount of damage, and loss of life which
took place in Europe during that war, while the US mainland, was
untouched physically.

Some Americans have faulty memories and logic.

Anyway, your closest source for Epson substitute inks in any quantity
and selection is probably going to be the UK (unfortunately, yet another
brainwashed government, but let's not go there ;-)).

France is known for its dye industry, so there may be some French
companies producing inkjet inks, or there may be some distributors who
have taken on some of the product lines, but unfortunately, I don't
believe the number of people in this newsgroup from France is very
substantial, so as was mentioned, Google may be your best bet for trying
to track down suppliers.

None taken. Being French right now is not the thing I'm the most proud
of, anyway.

I had to try: there is french usenet printer group.

Well, google *was* my friend a few years ago: one could find "honnest
quality" bulk ink in France or in Belgium or even Uk.
Now, the most "bulk" I found was 40 or 100ml (about 1.5 to 4flOz). I'm
aiming mor at 500ml bottle, you see

Anyway thanks for the answer.

Please read: "there is *no* french usenet printer group."
