I know this is a little off the topic of this board but I
see a lot of discussion about differnt products here. I
was wondering if anyone has any experience or feed back on
software called Prospect Mailer. I was thinking of
purchasing it for our company because it sound like it
will do everything we have been looking for but I haven't
heard anything about it one way or another. Any opinions
anyone? Thanks for any input you can give.

I can't comment on the software but I can tell you that the only thing I
despise more than telephone solicitation is spam e-mail.

Thank You Nospam for you mature and constructive response.
I see by the looks of your site that so-called spam is not
acceptable but pop-ups are fine. Please try to be informed
about a situation before you make childish comments. My
company plans to use this software to organize its own
subscription email database as well as search out other
people interested in signing up for its subscriptions and
solicited newsletters.

Spam is spam, and I don't know of anyone that likes it. Especially when
they're paying for download time.

The best option is to only send email to folks that have signed up to
receive email on your web site, where you have a info on how their info will
be used and a privacy policy that you can live with.

Here's another mature and constructive response for you:
Whatever Spammer! and BTW that's not my site. Did it ever
occur to you that I just made up this name to irritate
you, Spammer

You are welcome, however here is a better written versions with additional
information.

The best option is to only send email to folks that have signed up to
receive email on your web site, where you have detailed info on how their
info will be used and a privacy policy that you can live with.

Then use a service such as Topica to manage your mailing list, this will
avoid your ISP or host think that you are sending spam, if you have a large
number of subscribers to your list.

Do not purchase list of names and email addresses to email to, because you
have no way to know how theses names were obtained, no matter what the
seller states.

It only takes one person to consider your email to be spam get your ISP or
Host IP range blocked.
