did you try to see the "safely remove hardware" to see if it shows a driver
letter, because i know if you have a program like tweakVI you can actually
set the computer not to show a certain drive in the my computer, and the
only way to show it again is to re-enable the option, now sometimes it's
done by accident not on purposes, for example when i load the tweakvi before
i close the program i have to go re-enable the option so that my taskmanager
option stays enabled(i know i'm being vagued but it's kinda hard to
explain.) so may be if you have that program or a similar program you might
have or someone else removed it from the "my computer"
