Hi,
I am having a problem with my ethernet card and am not sure what to
do.
What I have done so far is to reboot without any network cables
attached after I deleted the network card from the device manager.
Went into the Command prompt and typed in "Ipconfig /all" and got the
following results:
Microsoft Windows XP [Version 5.1.2600]
(C) Copyright 1985-2001 Microsoft Corp.

c:\users\dan>ipconfig /all

c:\users\dan>

When I type in "Ipconfig /release" I get this error:
c:\users\dan>ipconfig /release

Windows IP Configuration

The operation failed as no adapter is in the state permissible for
this operation.

c:\users\dan>

Can anyone guide me into the right direction to get this fix.
To answer your question, what brought me to this point is that every
time I try to activate my IE, I get the workoff line box or click to
retry. In IE under the file "Workoff Line" is NOT checked.

Any ideas anyone.
Thanks for the help.

Dan (Still going in circles)
