Has anybody else noticed that the Built in Mozilla popup blocker is
not working very well anymore?

I use Firefox, and yes I noticed that too. I assumed naively that
people are beginning to work-around the controls...

Not working very well means exactly what?

Popups slipping through?
"Good" popups being blocked?
Other bugs with whitelisting? etc.

No problems here with Firefox 1.0PR.

That seems to be the case. I thought it was just a problem on my end.
Maybe I messed around with the wrong setting or something.

Can you give an example URL? I spend a lot of time on the internet and
I have not had one slip through with Mozilla or Firefox.

If you have Tabbrowser Extensions installed, try running a profile
without TBE. TBE causes Firefox 0.10's popup-blocking not to work
properly, and I guess it might with the latest Mozilla as well.

Nope, don't have that one installed. But now I'm concerned that maybe
another extension might have a similar effect. At any rate, I'm also
using WebWasher and it does an excellent job of blocking popups in
both IE and Moz. It's just that sometimes I have to turn off my
proxies and that's when I see popups.

ACCKK!! I knew somebody would ask that. When it happened this morning,
I hadn't had a cup of coffee yet and forgot to bookmark the site. I'll
keep my eye open for one though.
