Building an object thru animation

      27th Sep 2005
I wanted to build a house one layer at a time in a single slide. By clicking
it would bring in the foundation, then the walls, then the roof,... I have
no clue on how to bring in objects one at a time. Any guidance would be
greatly appreciated.

You can make use of custom animation. If you are using powerpoint xp/2002 and
above, after you make the roof, walls and etc, click on each one and add the
Appear effect.
You can do so by Right clicking on one object, then click Add effect >
Entrance > Appear.

For PowerPoint 2000 and below, to bring up the custom animation, it is
similar to powerpoint xp/2002 and above. the Appear effect is under Effect
tab.

With PowerPoint 2002 and 2003 you can use entrance animations.
