due to my pc crashing whilst using IE6, i decided to do a
full reinstall of xp. since i have done this i am still
having crashing problems whilst o using IE6! my computer
is clean (no spyware etc) and i would like some
suggestions as to why my PC is behaving the way it is.
the error message i received is as follows:-

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck
was: 0x1000008e (0xc0000005, 0x00040001, 0xedccc4bc,
0x00000000). A dump was saved in:
C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini111503-01.dmp.

to be honest i havnt a clue as to what this all means!!
anyone have any ideas???

thanks

Start here and look for some clues.

You Receive a Bugcheck in Usbhub.sys When You Remove or Add a USB Device
When plug in or unplug a USB device, you may receive a bugcheck in the
Usbhub.sys file, and you may receive the following stop code if your
computer is not configured to automatically reboot:
STOP 0x0000000A (00000024, 00000002, 00000001, 8041f65e)
A fatal exception 0E has occurred at 0028:FF027240 in VXD USBD(01) +

Random "0x0000008E" Error Message on a Blue Screen in Windows XP
When you run Microsoft Windows XP, you may randomly receive an error message
on a blue screen that references a bugcheck ID 0x0000008E
(KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED) error.
