Hi I don't know if MS developers read this but I have the following bug to
report, I can't see it already in your KB.
If loading a webpage, then going back to the address bar and quickly typing
in a new address whilst the page is still loading, the cursor sometimes gets
moved back to the home position, on the left of the address bar so you start
typing to the left of the
http://.
To recreate, load up a large website, before it's finished loading clear the
web address and start typing in a new address quickly. Part way through
typing it will sometimes move the cursor back all the way to the left.
More of a serious related issue- if logging in to email or a page that
requires a username and password- such as the hotmail login, if you load up
the web page, then before the page is 100% loaded but the login boxes have
appeared, and you quickly type in your email address then go to the password
field, if you are quick enough, when you type your password, the cursor jumps
to the upper box and reveals the password you are typing. This is not
isolated to the hotmail website, does it on ebay amongst others.
To recreate- Load
www.hotmail.com, with a save email address in the login
box, whilst the page is still loading, very quickly type in your password,
the cursor sometimes jumps to the upper box (where you type your email
address). This happens sporadically when a username and password are entered
on a page with 2 separate log in boxes. Observed on many different machines
under Windows XP professional with latest service pack 2 and all updates.
