Administrator options: user window defender is on and Allow Everyone to user
Window Defender is on.

When Window Defender is use in Limited account and user change Internet
Explorer Homepage user cannot select action to permit or deny.
since user cannot apply action to deny or permit I now have Window Defender
icon with blue ? shield stuck on my notification area and the only way to
make it dissapear is to exit Window Defender. It does not log anything on the
History either.

I just did a search on this issue, and it seems the MVP's have known about it
for a while. It makes me wonder if any of the Microsoft developers have
wives and children. I certainly don't plan to let my wife run on an admin
account. The ability ot permit limited users to make decisions appropriate
to their account is one reason I chose One Care and Defender. How I find out
that it is seriously flawed. I am quite disappointed and cannot express my
frustration adequately. Somebody at Microsoft needs to go back and study the
basic concept of security at home!

Hey Paul;

Yeah, I can understand your frustration. I am lurking in to various
newsgroups quite frequently and repeatedly saw numerous messages which were
written by well regarded experts, like:

"I want you to know, OneCare is just plain junk."
Or
" It has the worst catch rate in the anti-virus industry".
Or
"OneCare should be removed"; to cite a few.

Not one of these statements were ever challenged by a Microsoft
representative and/or MVP. Makes you wonder...

Though I installed W/F final version, I also have additional ammunition in
my arsenal.

Cheers..........................Kayman.
