Hi,
It has nothing to do with IE, but with Word.
I put these files on my own server:
test..txt
test..htm
test..doc
They all download correctly, but Word 2003 complains about a missing DLL.
Why do you want two points before the extension? I systematically delete
files with two points before the extensions, as I delete all files with a
double extension.
