In the tracks eraser, Windows recent documents, it clears
the shortcuts in the user account's My recent documents
folder, as it should. However, it also deletes that
folder's desktop.ini file, resulting in loss of the
folder's special icon and renaming of the folder
to 'recent'.
One can rrecover the icon by copying over the desktop.ini
file from the recent documents folder of, say, default
user. Then right click on folder, click rename immediately
offers 'My recent documents' as the folder name.
But it would be better, instead of clearing all the files,
it left the desktop.ini file there and only cleared out
the links.
