P4 2.GHz
1gb RAM
40gb free HDD
Windows XP home, SP2

For the last week or so, I have been gradually losing internet connectivity
during a session. i.e:- I could be surfing the net, and after a while,
clicking a link will take me to an IE error screen that tells me that the
page can't be reached. From that moment on, I won't be able to connect to
anything on the internet until I reboot. The only useful message I get from
anything is if I try to run World of Warcraft, and that is:

"Unable to establish a connection to socket: No buffer space is available.
The socket cannot be created/connected."

Interestingly, if I am already connected to World of Warcraft, I can
continue playing for as long as I want, even though I can't check my email
or look at web pages.

I recently installed an older version of Norton system works (2003) but this
is still later than my version of WinXP (2002) and I'm not convinced it's
causing the problem. I also recently changed some settings in Azureus, but
the problem persists even if I have not run Azureus that session.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Ahh!. My Windows is dated 2002, but I guess the date was from the original
non SP-2 retail pack.

I've tried everything I can, nothing will solve this problem. I've Googled
the error message and found a couple of other cases, but unfortunately,
no-one had an answer for the others either. I guess it's re-format time
(which is going to cause huge traumas here).
