I have used many players and find that WMP is the best choice for me
based on ease of use, etc. Whenever I play MP3's (or video files) that
are stored on a network location they are sometimes choppy, depending
on network activity.
Is there any third party plugin or program (and if not, then perhaps
even another media player) that is smart enough to, when double
clicking on a media file that is stored on a different computer other
than the one I am on, to detect this, and somehow buffer it. I
wouldn't even mind if it copied the whole thing over to a temp folder
and played locally... I know I can do this manually but I would be the
only one in my household with the ability to do so. My family
(especially my daughter) would be unable to do this. So if a plugin
could do it, then delete the file when I close the media player, that
would be great. Thanks!
