Some say that it was all a hoax to increase awareness to Office Update

Anybody heard of Nick DeBaggis before?

And what if they're trying to feed us some weird medicated code? In
the fear of propagation, would we be softer?

Well it increased my awareness plenty.
I became so aware that I dumped IE altogether.
