Buffalo Linux 1.1.0
- A new Slackware-based Linux distribution
About
:
Buffalo Linux is a derivative distribution based on Vector/Slackware. It is
targeted for the small business workstation market. This is the free base
version. Enhanced versions with pre-installed database access (DB2 and
Oracle) and Microsoft product execution using Codeweavers products are
available.
Changes:
This major release includes five kernels, all based on 2.4.24. It also
includes the available updates from Slackware "current". Many bugfixes
were made, and much better integration with Codeweavers CrossOver Office
was added. The 2.4.24 kernels for i486, i586, i686, ipent3, and ipent4 are
also available as separate downloads. These can be used to upgrade the
earlier "rc3" release to the latest kernel.
