I originally had BT Yahoo! AntiSpy 1.11 on my system. I
then added Microsoft Antispyware Beta and Ad-Aware SE.
All three worked fine with each locating different
cookies etc.

Today I updated to AntiSpy 1.13. All it does is crash
and ask to send an error report. Oops!

Anyone else encountered this problem?

Found a fix!!!

There was another ppctl.dll installed on my system under
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Scanner which was a year
older than the new installation.

Sorted by registering the new dll with:-

Start> Run>
regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\YPSR\ppctl.dll"

In this case use the quotes!!

Maybe--but if he had--he might not have posted, and the 13 other people with
this same issue would never see the fix.
