BT Mouse and Laptop

Hi

I prefer to use a mouse to the built in trackpad on my Lenove laptop whenever
possible so I bought myself a Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook mouse as I quite
liked the idea of not having to take up a USB port and utilising the built in
BT.

I'm generally quite pleased with my purchase other than the mouse will
regularly lose comms with the laptop for a few seconds. Not a major issue but
just a little frustrating keep having to wait for comms to be re-established.

Does anyone have any idea what's causing this and how to overcome it?

TIA

I have seen problems with Microsoft's Bluetooth devices have problem
when not "syncing" with a non Microsoft receiver and non Microsoft
Bluetooth protocol stack. Which Bluetooth drivers are you using
(Widcomm/ Broadcom or Microsoft's?)

Well, the drivers are those provided by Lenovo, which AFAIK are Broadcom.

I guess I'll have to live with it.
