Hi Dave
Thanks for the suggestions - tried Fujitsu Siemens they
have no specific drivers other than those installed. Win
update assures me that the current files are right up to
date.
The report that comes up when it crashes is a fatal error -
connection broken unexpectedly.

Mike,

Don't start a new thread when you are responding to another message.
Nobody here has any idea what your problem is/was looking at this
response unless they search out your first post.

If you are using the Web CDO interface, STOP. Use a newsreader
program. MS even gives you a free, limited function newsreader
program automatically installed in Windows, called Outlook Express!
