Hello,

Recently I started getting the BSOD when I wake the machine from an S3
startup I don't get it when I am working.

The machine runs XP PRO SP3 and all updates, latest BIOS and MOBO
drivers. Here is the message I get on the screen if it is helpful.

KMIXER.SYS Address B6E085ED Base at B6DF7000 Datestamp 480254b3

Begin Physical Dump of Memory

STOP:0X000000E (0XC0000005,0XB6E085ED,0XB86D72A0,0X00000000)

I have disabled the shadowing and caching in the BIOS in hope that
will stop this problem. Mercifully I don't get it but once in a while
but that's still too often!

Thanks to all who reply,

Tinsby

See http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms818809.aspx (ignore the
reference to Win2K)

Hi PA Bear,

I haven't installed any new hardware or software so that's what
puzzles me, Until recently the system was rock solid and very
dependable.
