BSOD on playing divx 6.0 files on WMP 11

No divx codecs installed. Played divx file on WMP 11, Got BSOD :--)
Rebooted, installed divx codecs, and played the file and it worked!

Hardware: NVIDIA 6200 GeForce 256 MB
Windows: Home Premium 32 bit
