Hi, everyone,
I just did a clean install of Vista x64 today. There's nothing installed
except the latest nVidia drivers, Realtek HD audio drivers, and Avira AntiVir
Premium. It is fully up-to-date as far as Windows Update.
Anywhere from 10-30 minutes into use of the system, it BSODs with one of the
following errors:
BAD_POOL_HEADER
IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL - 0xFFFFF80001C63B98
This leads me to believe it's a driver problem, but I've never had this
problem on this machine, and it's a clean install.
I really don't want to re-install again.
Can anyone shed any light on this for me? Cheers.
ASUS P5LD2, Core 2 Duo, 8800GT
Ubuntu 7.10 and OSx86 10.5.1 are working fine, however, with full graphics
and audio acceleration - so the hardware itself is fine.
