Hello,

I am getting this Blue Screen see below:

STOP: 0x0000000A (Ox00000007, 0x00000002, 0x00000000, 0x807D5FF9)

I have tried to use my install disk to launch the recovery progam but it
just returns to the blue screen. I had a bad virus prior to all of this
happening and it seems as though my virus protection software could not
quarintine it or I could not delete the trojan dll that it identified. Also
in advanced troubleshooting mode it wont let me go to safe mode it just
returns to blue screen. Please help me it sound like the only alternative I
may have is to wipe my C: drive if I can't get it into safe mode to delete
the virus files.

It sounds like the virus got into your MBR. If you have to reinstall
Windows, don't just format the partition, delete the partition and create a
new one.

Colin, it won't let me past the BSOD even when I hit enter to install XP it
jusyt goes back to BSOD
it sounds like I have to wipe and reformat the hard drive.

Make sure you disconnect any unnecessary hardware (external and internal).
Reseat your video card and memory modules and check connections. Then try
one more time.
