Hi everyone,
The owner of the company is having a problem with a bsod coming up after the
computer has been running for a while. The computer is a laptop, but since
its left at the office, he didn't want the computer to have to go into
standby or shutting off hard disks. The only thing it does when left alone
is that it goes to screen saver after 10 minutes and shuts off the monitor
after a half hour. The OS is Windows XP Pro. Here is the information I got
from the BSOD message:

KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR

Stop 0x0000007A (0xC03DCFFC, 0xC000000E, 0xF73FF384, 0x19CE4860)

atapi.sys

Ken
I would try Start, Run, type "sfc /scannow" without quotes
and hit Enter.

Description of Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 System
File Checker (Sfc.exe)

You will need your CD.

If your CD does not incorporate the SP2 update because it dates from
2004 or earlier come back for further advice.

Hope this helps.
