The explanation of the + devices makes sense. I didn't know it was
proprietary to D-Link. One thing I tried is I removed the NetBEUI
protocol. I know XP doesn't really support it, but I loaded it
manually from the install CD so I could network my XP machine and my
old 98 machine. So far I have not had any more problems, but we'll
see... Is there any other way I can network XP and 98 without NetBEUI?
