Browsing : suspicious activity

While using IE 6 to browse, a black command line screen
around 1/4th the size of the monitor pops up thrice. I
did a print screen when it happened again and the path
was c:\windows\system32. Also after closing the browser I
see my network connection icon flashing. I see data being
sent to the computer even though no web page is open.
Also no live update softwares are running in the
background. Please shed some light on these weird
happenings.

Sunil,
The first thing to do is to scan your system for the possibility of
unknown\unwanted spyware or parasites that may be causing your problem(s).
