Browsing not working on one machine

After rebooting my exchange server, it failed to authenticate to my
domain. I removed it from the domain and created a new account services
weren't starting up. Working with MS support we finally ran DomainPrep
and mail was up and running. Except I can't browse my domain. Before
spending the money to open a new case on this "separate" issue, I
thought I'd try here.

Browstat claims:

C:\>browstat view
\Device\NetBT_Tcpip_{BE069F03-8C8A-4AA4-B3B1-AB13605C52BE}
Unable to get backup list for on transport
\Device\NetBT_Tcpip_{BE069F03-8C8A-4
AA4-B3B1-AB13605C52BE}: The list of servers for this workgroup is not
currently
available

But the list is available to all other servers and workstations.

Funny thing, while rebooting my PDC, I ran netview and it worked. So I
ran browstat, but things changed as the server came back on line:

C:\>net view
Server Name Remark

The command completed successfully.

I followed other earlier advice on browsing and verified netbios over
tcp/ip is running., only one nic, etc.

I ran netdiag, and got the following errors:

DC list test . . . . . . . . . . . : Failed
Failed to enumerate DCs by using the browser.
[ERROR_NO_BROWSER_SERVERS_FOUND]

Kerberos test. . . . . . . . . . . : Failed

[WARNING] The default SPN registration for 'HOST/MAIL' is missing

[FATAL] The default SPNs are not properly registered on any DCs.

This seems to be where I started from in the first place! I was getting
Kerberos errors, and Netdom failed to reset the machine password, and
then I restarted and had no access to the domain. I suppose that
removing and re-adding the machine to the domain could have caused the
SPN errors, but where do I go from here?

Thanks,
-jb

Make sure that netbios over TCP/IP is enabled on the server. Then make sure that you are pointing to the WINS server for your
network.

Thank you,
