Hi,

I am servicing an XP Pro SP2 PC.

When I click on my computer, the window opens and the classic windows
flashlight icon(searching) appears for a long time before it shows the
contents of My Computer. (There is no CD on the CD drive).

Also when typing an url without http:// on IE, the same happens. The
requested page will open after some time.

I tried everything that I could come up, with no luck.

I appreciate your help.

Thank you

Thank you for your reply.

The problem was HP printer software, not the one listed on MSFT 81907 but
another.

Thank you
