Browsing between subnets

Hi..

I have 2 subnets.

Subnet 1 has the adress 212.x.x.x, there I have all my DC's (w2k) with DNS,
WINS and DHCP and most of my workstations.

Subnet 2 has the adress 192.x.x.x, there I have some workstations that dont
have to access the internet.

How can I configure my network so you can browse the 192.x.x.x subnet from
the 212.x.x.x subnet and the other way?

I have added the subnet 192.x.x.x in "Active directory sites and services"
(on a server in the 212.x.x.x subnet). But no success.

There are no routers between the subnets.

Anyone who can point me in the right direction?

Thanks,
Alex

The pdc fsmo holder should be the master domain browser and not be multihomed or a
rras server. Then you have a segment master browser on the other subnet that should
also not be dual homed. Apparently these two are not finding each other to merge the
browse list. If your network is configured correctly they should both be registered
in the wins database [which means they need to be wins clients] so that they can find
each other and domain computers can find them. See the links below for more help. ---

Hello All,

Browsing is always based off of WINS and/ or broadcasts. Are both subnets
pointing to the same WINS server and if so, can you look at the WINS
database and see if you have entries for both segments.

Hi

you need a router. If two computers are in different subnets they can't
communicate each other without a router.
