Browser won't close after exiting Yahoo Games

's Computer Specifications

I have a new Dell computer with XP Home, Internet Explorer V6. When I
exit Yahoo games, the window minimizes, but won't close. I have to
use the Task Manager to kill it.

Same games worked fine on my old Win 98 computer.

Any ideas?

I am facing the same problem but with any IE page I open; furthermore my cpu hits 100% when I open i.e and I have to close it via endtask to get back to the normal state. note that I installed its latest security patch 832894!! Kindly advise
