My web surfing has slowed down quite a bit lately, although I subscribed to
1.5mb ADSL broadband.
To speed things up, I've deleted all Temporary Internet files (Tools/Tools
Options/Delete Cookies, Files), History Files, etc. I've scanned for viruses
using Trend Micro, AVG and removed the Spyware files that were detected.
But IE still loads web pages slowly.

Please help. I am using IE version 6.0.2990.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519
128 bit on Win XP on a DELL 2.2 Ghz with 256 RAM. Many thanks

Go to a speed test site, such as dslreports.com, and test your connection
speed.

Tested the speed as you suggested: 6.3 kps. What should I do now. Thanks
for advice.

You should discuss the low speed with your ISP, as there may be line issues
on their end that you can *not* address with your PC.
