I am having problems accessing webpages, (ones that I
have frequented often for a year or more).
I highly suspect it is connected with problems I had with
my new DSL provider; Comcast. I recently removed 67
Executable files of theirs out of my registry while
investigating problems with my inability to change
settings (Their transition wizard disabled my norton,
changed my homepage and blocked certain sites from use)
When I am asked to contact the adminstrator and the
administrator group is myself and one other? I
immediately suspected their newly downloaded "outlook
help".) My system slowed and many settings changed from
what I had been using since I moved to this home in 2001!
Now it is time three and I am exhaustedof possibilities.
How can I find ALL this invasive software and remove it?
And how can I prevent access to my settings from remote
sources? i am not saavy in window. I am a relic of Apple
and DOS. SO there is a point where I can do no more! HELP!
