Wondering how I can be sure that all my pop-up controls and/or blockers are
removed from my system.
I am trying to update my McAfee Virus Scan software and it tells me that I
have a pop-up control or blocker stopping the upgrade. I took all such
programs off my system and I am still having a problem.
I am still hearing a little 'ping' when I bring up McAfee's page. Which is
what I heard when I had my pop-up controls installed and when I was surfing
the net. I was told that sound was the pop-up controls stopping pop-ups.
But I am still getting that sound with no pop-ups installed. At least I
think there are none installed.
Anyone have any comments please?
