Browser plug-in does not work after loading SP3

We have product, that is a browser plug-in, that was
working fine with Windows 2000, IE5.0, SP2. After we
installed SP3 it stopped loading. What could be the
possible error / setting that we need to do to make it
work.
IE5.5 and IE6.0 supports only Active Server Doc
architecture. Does SP3 upgrades IE5.0 to this architecture?
