Sorry about this very basic question. The window IE6
opens in is never maximised. I know it's trivial but it's
annoying.

How can I make it open windows maximised?

Hi,

You may wish to attempt the following.

Close all your IE windows.
Open a single instance of Internet Explorer, and resize it
as desired (Don't maximise it, resize it by dragging the
lower right corner of the window to make it as large as is
desireable).
Close that window.

Internet Explorer should now open with the desired size.
