Aaaaaaahhhhh, #~&+*@(*#!!!

Internet Explorer started opening at the end of the startup sequence. I
couldn't find an answer after looking for a few days, and the only feasible
response was to stop using IE 6.x. So, I installed Firefox, uninstalled IE
6.x, and the problem went away. Because of a problem I had with
telecommuting from my home-computer, I was asked to reinstall IE 6.x. I
really, really didn't want to do it; I swear! I knew it wasn't the source of
the problem, but I couldn't convince the office manager. So, I reinstalled
the problem back onto my computer. After that manager was convinced that
removing IE 6.x wasn't causing the problem, I uninstalled it again.

This time, the problem didn't go away, and no matter what browser I use,
Windows XP Professional puts the dog-gone browser back into startup-mode
without putting it in MSCONFIG. Therefore, I can't find the registry entry
causing this. I can delete every registry entry containing my homepage,
including Startup & Run keys, and something else is telling the O.S. to put
it right back! Oh, am I annoyed as all get-out about now. I need a registry
expert who knows the trail of entries causing any browser to startup during
boot-up!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Well, that program did it, nass. Thank you so much! I knew I didn't have a
virus, malware, adware, or spyware. But, dangit, I took out so many things, I
can't remember which one worked. It was one of those keys that didn't
actually have my homepage in it ... in Root Classes or something like that.
But, if I hadn't run that program and saw all the missing files, duplicate
files, and suspicious ones, I could not have spotted anything strange. So,
thanks again!!! YAHOOOOO!
