I have the IEv6 installed in my WindowsXP PC.

I'm facing a serious problem with the brower for a very long time. I
hope there is some way to get rid of it.
The browser doesn't perform any action after certain time. It works
fine for some time, and then later it stops responding to any of the
user inputs like clicking, opening a web page etc. For example, assume
that I try to open www.bing.com, it hangs and doesn't do anything at
all. At the same time, if I try to open a new browser window, and try
the samething, it works fine.
Is there a way to get rid of this problem forever?

Hello,

Try running IE6 with add-ons disabled

Start > Control Panel > Internet Options > Advanced (tab) > UNCHECK "Enable
third-party browser extensions" > OK

Run IE6 now.

If it works now, one of your add-ons is causing the problem. Start Internet
Explorer as normal, Tools, Manage Add-ons, Enable or Disable Add-ons.

Disable all the add-ons. Enable third-party browser extensions in Internet
Options.

Restart your browser and enable the add-ons one by one till the problem
appears and you get the culprit.

Please state your full Windows version (e.g., WinXP SP3) when posting to
this newsgroup.

Is the computer fully patched at Windows Update? Can you even use Windows
Update website?

My Windows version is: WinXP-Version 2002-SP2.

I'll try with disabling the add-ons(as suggested in other post). Lets
see what happens!

Actually this suggestion resolved my problem. The only issue is that
this setting gets reset (back to 'enable add-ons' checked) after the
restart of the PC. Hence, I've to uncheck again after every PC
restart.
Thanks!
