I made the mistake of visiting a website operated by a
firm called velnet.com, which webhosts and they have made
their page into my browser's homepage without my
permission. Worse, I am unable to restore the original
setting. When I go to Tools ... Internet Options ...
General and try to click on the address box there, it and
the three buttons below are permanently greyed out. This
state survives a full reset of the computer. Any ideas
what I can do, other than warn others about this
irritating site? Velnet.com have published an impossible
phone number on their site and they don't answer e-mails.
