I am facing this propblem with the IE 6.0 Browser in
Windows 98 that my Homepage changes to something like
www.websearch.net but in the Homepage settings under the
General tab in Internet Options - it shows about:blank. I
have also changed the homepage to the desired site in the
same option and also in the Windows Registry Editor (Start
Page) - Still no go.

Pls reply soon.

Run the "Cool Web Shredder"
check for update first.

Close all instances of Internet Explorer and Outlook Express,
click on the executable above and follow the prompts.

It is a virus or a parisite and very annoying you need a
spy or ad ware. On one of my computers I still can not
get rid of it.

Ensure all instances of IE & OE are closed, hit the executable and
follow the prompts.
