Everytime I reboot and start a fresh browser my home my.yahoo.com home page
is highjacked to isearch.com. I've run spbot and and adaware and they don't
see anything strange. Any clues how to get rid of this thing?

Thanks,

Rob

Hi there,

isearch.com could be a coolwebsearch variant, you may download coolwebsearch
trojan remover from here:
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/regs...CWShredder.zip

In addition, this problem can also be caused by spyware. Download Ad-Aware
from www.lavasoftusa.com, scan the system and eliminate the malware
products. Re-apply the above fix if necessary. Don't forget to update the
pattern file using WebUpdate in Ad-Aware. Here are the steps:

1. Start Ad-Aware.
2. Click "Check for Updates", "Connect" and download the latest pattern
file if available. and click Finish
3. Click "Start" "Next" [System will now detect the spyware]
4. After the scan is finished, click "Next"
5. Select all the items (checkboxes)
Right click on any object in the "Scan result" list and choose
[Select all objects]
6. Click Next and click OK to confirm spyware removal.

You have probably inadvertently downloaded and installed adware,
spyware, parasite, trojan or a browser hijacker from some web site:
