hi-running windows xp; i run "internet explorer", all the latest service paks
and updates....use spybot,ad-ware se, and microsoft anti-spyware...had
symantec anti-virus until 12-31-06, currently using free
AVG............................................PROBLEM-when i search on
"google" all is fine until i try to view the page selected, then i get
redirected 2-3 times....only other thing i can mention is that from looking
at past test results from my full scans on "avg" anti-v is that every time i
get a "read-error" between two files---the two files(again BETWEEN,so i'm
sure there cool) are in -C\WINDOWS\system32(control.exe and rundll.exe),AND
they evolve with each scan,i.e.
dmgmi.exe,hgqhp.exe,dmuiz.exe,dmefo.exe,dmghb.exe,dmifj.exe ...MY QUESTIONS
ARE; what now?,on the right track?safe to delete to may-be bad files?+how?is
tiger gonna win?(i'm a micklson fan b.t.w. ) thanks,matt

Go through these malware removal steps systematically:

Since you've got a trojan, I'd add scanning with Ewido first. You can
download a fully-functional trial and then uninstall it afterwards. You
may need to run HijackThis and post your log at one of the forums
listed at the above website (not here, please).
