My network browser doesn't start because it depends upon
Workstation starting.
Workstation doesn't start because:
"Could not load MRxSmb device driver"

What the heck is this all about?

Event ID code 5727 on ax XP system
Also followed by failure to load RDR device driver
event ID code 5727
There is no specific "error code"

I am sure I have seen this before with XP. Go into the Control Panel and
select Administrative Tools followed by Services. Find the Workstation
service and check that the service is not disabled or set to manual startup.
If it is change the startup type to automatic and then try and start the
service. If the service starts, reboot the pc. The Computer Browser should
then start.
