Hello:

I just logged into a web site (using IE6) which requires a username &
password. After 5 minutes of inactivity, I am usually kicked out of the
site.

* Is there a way for me to CONFIGURE my browser to automatically
REFRESH (or automatically generate some kind of web activity) after every 4
minutes ?
Maybe in this way I can avoid being kicked out PLUS be able to view
the updated information each time the site is refreshed.

* Will the act of refreshing force me to log in all over again ?

Appreciate a discussion of these IE6 browser issues

Thanks,
Jo.

Hi JoJo,

This is normal for secure web sites (https). I am afraid that you have to
keep the session active by performing some sort of activity (sending
requests to the web site... navigating or refreshing).

Regards.

Configuring Internet Explorer to use proxy server has never been easier:

If you want to configure it from command line, look at:
http://ieproxycfg.50webs.com/index.html
and if you are looking for UI approch, look at:
http://ieproxycfg.50webs.com/proxychain.html
