Using FP 2003
In Tools>browser compatibility, check all pages, it found about 150
problems. Some examples are as follows:
______________________________________________
Line 136: In Internet Explorer 5.0 the attribute XTHUMBNAIL-ORIG-IMAGE is
not permitted for the <IMG> tag.
Line 172: In Internet Explorer 5.0 the attribute XTHUMBNAIL-ORIG-IMAGE is
not permitted for the <IMG> tag.
Line 186: In Internet Explorer 5.0 the attribute XTHUMBNAIL-ORIG-IMAGE is
not permitted for the <IMG> tag.
Line 219: In Internet Explorer 5.0 the attribute XTHUMBNAIL-ORIG-IMAGE is
not permitted for the <IMG> tag.
Line 284: In Internet Explorer 5.0 the tag <CENTER> cannot contain a tag
<DT>.
Line 139: In Internet Explorer 5.0 the tag <CENTER> cannot contain a tag
<TD>.
Line 189: In Internet Explorer 5.0 the tag <CENTER> cannot contain a tag
<TD>.
Line 176: In Internet Explorer 5.0 the tag <CENTER> cannot contain a tag
<TR>.
Line 180: In Internet Explorer 5.0 the tag <CENTER> cannot contain a tag
<TR>.
Line 102: In Internet Explorer 5.0 the tag <FONT> cannot contain a tag <TD>.
Line 167: In Internet Explorer 5.0 the tag <FONT> cannot contain a tag <TD>.
Line 213: In Internet Explorer 5.0 the tag <FONT> cannot contain a tag <TD>.
Line 48: In Internet Explorer 5.0 the tag <FONT> cannot contain a tag <TR>.

All of them refer to IE 5.0. I'm sure all of my customers are using newer
browsers, and the website seems to work fine. What do you experts think
about this?
Thanks,
Rusty

The errors are still errors for all browsers, though all browsers
(with the possible exception of NN4) will ignore attributes like
XTHUMBNAIL-ORIG-IMAGE, but may balk on the other errors.
