Hello,

I want to always use Microsoft's Media Player to play
online audio clips. Until recently that was the case,
however, now Apple's Quick Time seems to be the default
player (I was prompted to install it during a recent
software upgrade), and I can't figure out how to reset
this choice to Windows Media Player.

Help -- I hate the Quick Time player !!!

I use AOL broadband and have the latest (automatic) WinXP
Home updates, etc.

Thanks for your time.

Harry

That did the trick -- actually I think I might have done
that at some point, but never clicked the "apply"
button... but then I un-installed the Apple stuff -- then
AOL said something like "media plug-in missing -- do you
want to fix this problem Y/N ?"... I said yes, and the
Apple stuff must have set itself up as the default again -
- it must be that AOL has worked out some kind of deal
with Apple. Whatever, all set now -- thanks for your
time.
