For the past week I've spent many hours trying to install the BROTHER MULTI
FUNCTION (MFC-7220) IN xp pro sp3, and after MS and bro contacts the no
function fax,copy.scan machine is not installed.
PLLEASEEEEEEEEE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Install, and do NOT connect the All in One until the software tells you to
do so.

I really appreciate ur input and just to inform that i,ve done that 12 times
expecting different results, but noooooo. Am still unable to install it

After you install the software, and then connect the printer to the PC, do
you hear USB 'ding' sounds? Have you tried another USB cable? Does the
printer work OK on another PC?

It's not USB and printer works just unable to install fax and scanner
portions of the multi function machune

is this a parallel port connection? You can change the machine BIOS
configuration on the port. What EPP/ECP/AT configuration does the manual
recommend?
