I have been told there is a 'toner save mode' for this printer but I cannot
find it in Preferences..anybody know where it is?

Toner is cheap enough for me to start thinking about saving toner, so I
never care to look for this option. But if your printer have ligher/DARKER
option then I guess "lighter" would use less toner and it would be "toner
save mode" (?).

About cheap toner, I refill mine and it costs around $8-10 for around
6,000 sheet.
