Broken sword help?

Can someone help me on broken sword the shadow of the templars (PC VERSION)?

I have install the game as full on windows xp SP2, But the game crash in on cd 2.

There a part on cd 2 where you put the chess picece in , well after this i get a memory error.

Here the error message

the instruction at 0040367b refernced memory at 16e815a8
Could not be read from

It looks like you problem is your memory. Have you seen this message anywhere in other programs?
How much RAM do you have?

Think the game only needs about 8 min ram to run.



Got alot of ram for this game in fact.

512min ddr2 but it does the same on my laptop aswell.

Try getting anouther 512 of DDR2, prices are very good for some of the 'better' stuff

Try to get at least 1 gig in, thats how much my home built system uses and all the games i've got work to perfection.
It could be the memory on your graphics card. What graphics card is it and how much video memory does it have?

Sounds more like a problem with the second cd to me.....

The game is very old and windows xp was,nt even out then.

The spec for this game are very basic.

66hmz i think and 8mb of ram

So even a basic pc could handle this.

Shame the cd is damage no loss anyway got it free.
