Have 2 Windows 2000 servers with SP4.

Having major problems getting them to install the above drivers.

Have tried re-installing many times, but no joy. The above is what Device
manager is saying.

Looked on the Broadcom site, but no ability to query, and haven't found
anything useful in their support info.

Anybody come across these problems before?

Start with the definition of "Code 31" here:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/125174

This is the error I'm getting.

This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers
required for this device. (Code 31)

The drivers are those from November last year. I've found some more recent
drivers, which I'm going to try and install. But can't there is just no real
info as to why they are not loading.

Regards
Roger

And driver versions are up-to-date ones.

The broadcom card is recognised by Device Manager. But nothing else. Can't
see it from a ipconfig/all and doesn't appear on Network Settings.

But that's what I would expect if it cannot load the drivers.

I'm wondering if the reason I'm having problems is I need to try an old
version of the drivers?
